Lambeth Libraries is proud to introduce: Emerge & Establish a small group show of emerging and established London-based painters, exhibiting their creative journeys as black British artists. The show includes multimedia artist Jez Jacobs, abstract painter Courtenay Kusitor and other talents.

Jez Jacobs lives and works in Lambeth and is based at Warrior Studios in Brixton. He studied fine art sculpture at Central Saint Martins and has a background in graphic and multi-media design and working with young people. @surfacenoise_london

Courtenay Kusitor is a British Ghanaian artist who draws upon her interest in consciousness to inform her art practice. Courtenay studied Visual Communication at The Surrey Institute of Art & Design. Her intention is to ignite a sense of inward and outward awareness, one that the viewer can bring into their own life beyond the initial engagement of her work. @courtenay_kusitor_artist
