Ghosts of the High Street (EXHIBITION)

David Western has been depicting the streets, buildings and hidden corners of London ever since he moved from Sussex in the early 1980’s. This retrospective show comprises paintings, prints, maps and drawings made in South London over the last quarter-century, a time of rapid and radical transformation of the urban landscape: much seen here has been demolished or altered beyond recognition.
