A mini food festival celebrating harvest time and how wheat and flour are a staple of food around the world and food as a universal language.
Families and local residents from different backgrounds and generations will be encouraged to share their experience and traditions of preparing wheat-based food stuffs. They will be invited to create a mini food festival celebrating harvest time and flour. Windmill opened for pre-booked tours. Milling demonstrations will take place with the hand querns outside the mill.
There will also be arts and crafts activities for children and families to depict their food stories.
