Join our Chatterbooks Reading Group and meet author Dola Amodu who has written her first novel Destiny. She was inspired to become a writer when she became a grandma and wanted to write fun stories for her grandchildren.
Destiny is about Fabunmi, a strong and brave wrestler. He finds out he has a special curse and goes on a big adventure. With the help of a tiny fairy named Iwin and his family, Fabunmi fights the tricky god Shango and wins! He saves all the children and becomes a true hero.
Come along for a fun afternoon. There will be an opportunity to purchase Dola’s book. For ages 7 to 12.
