Laura Henry-Allain MBE, creator of JoJo and Gran Gran, will lead a workshop, sharing her Representation Poem that is featured in A Year of Black Joy. A Year of Black Joy has been selected as one of The Reading Agency’s Summer Reading Challenge titles. Laura will also read some of her other stories and poems, and children will have the opportunity to write and share their poetry.
