SHAY’s World: Pivot, Stop and Go

ShayCasanova & Abbastanza Collective’s Pivot, Stop & Go is a powerful, immersive art event that reimagines the past to reshape the future.  More than an art exhibition/installation, it is an experience that invites trailblazers, artists, thinkers, and community leaders to engage with art, music, and conversation that speaks to the heart of Black identity, gentrification, and collective healing.

Throughout the evening a live DJ curates a soundscape blending the revolutionary rhythms of Fela Kuti, the soul of Bob Marley, and the raw energy of Vybz Kartel - As the evening unfolds, we gather for a community-led panel discussion, a handpicked roundtable chosen by Shay.  Together, we’ll unpack the echoes of the past that still shape our present and imagine what real change looks like when grounded in unity, creativity, and truth.
