Explore the “dead-centre” of Streatham with local historian and writer, John W Brown and Streatham Society Trustee Trudy Kuhn. Despite the rebuilds, St Leonard’s church is Streatham’s oldest building and its well-preserved medieval crypt and its churchyard provide a rich history of many of its long-departed residents. Possibly not for the squeamish.

Please note entry to the crypt and the bell tower is via steep spiral staircases.
