Peter Philips, a Brixton Musician and writer will discuss Philips’ Sound Recording Service, Liverpool’s first recording studio.
Peter Phillips will discuss Phillips Sound Recording Service, Liverpool’s first recording studio. Peter will share extensive archive material from the studio of his grandfather, Percy Phillips, including photographs and recordings such as the first Beatles records. These are audio snapshots of the social and cultural changes that took place during the 1950s /60s. Organised by Friends of Tate Library Brixton.
