Free feel-good community picnic with music to celebrate SE5's magnificent mulberry trees. Bring all the family and a picnic and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of beautiful Myatt's Fields Park. With live music, fun and games for young children and free tasty mulberry recipes from food charity Spring Community Hub.
Vocalist Beth Angharad and her band from Jazzlive at the Crypt will perform original songs across genres including folk, indie and jazz inspired by nature and the Myatt's Fields Mulberry Tree. Children will be invited to sing along and can join in games hosted by the Mulberry Outdoor pre-school after the concert.
Brought to you by the SE5 Forum for Camberwell and the Camberwell Society, with sponsorship from the Lambeth Council's Changing Lives fund, the Nunhead Gardener and TFC supermarket (supplying mulberry jam), as part of the Feel Good Festival series.
Myatt's Fields Park, Saturday 27th July, 1-3.30pm by the Roundhouse, next to the Mulberry Tree.
