Chatterbooks weekly club, continues throughout the summer if you want to meet new friends, love sharing idea and talking about books or activities why not pop along?

Ages: 7 to 12 years

Chatterbooks is a reading group with a difference. Each month we talk about what we've been reading, play games and do lots of activities all around the wonderful world of books. This is aimed to target 7-12yr olds.

Are you between the ages of 7 and 11 and love to read? Then join our book club to talk about books, write reviews, make new friends, and have a blast with fun activities! Light refreshments provided.

Calling all gamers! Dive into the exciting world of esports at our Esport Youth Club.  Enjoy thrilling gaming sessions, meet fellow enthusiasts, and challenge your friends in a friendly, competitive environment.

Join our librarians in the children’s library for our interactive wriggle and rhyme each Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Good Things Foundation are giving away SIM cards via Lambeth Clapham library for adults (over 18) who need smartphone access or to be able to text for jobseeking etc

What can I expect?

Join our librarians for songs, stories, and rhyme sessions.

Step back into the medieval era and create your own crown, shield, and sword. Discover the world of knights and castles while making your very own royal creations.

Ages 4 to 12 years

Learn how to round paper beads to make traditional African jewellery fit for a King/Queen. Use paper to make colourful Kente cloth weaving and African drums from paper cups.

Ages 4 to 11 years

Join the chess maestro librarians to play with other youngsters across the board. 
Ages 5 to 13 years

Creative writing practice for budding writers with the opportunity to share and discuss in a friendly and supportive environment.

At Dr Bike sessions experienced mechanics check everything on your bike from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more. 

Explore and learn both old and new crafts. Enjoy various weekly workshops, including drawing, painting, flower pressing, and more, with materials provided.

This group is run by Age Exchange Lambeth. It provides support, friendship and activities for people living with dementia and their Carers.
