At Dr Bike sessions experienced mechanics check everything on your bike from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more. 

A club designed to support children learning to read, struggling readers, and those learning English. The sessions are led by a retired school teacher and provide personalised guidance to help children build confidence in reading.

Adult book group reading mostly adult fiction, both contemporary and classic, prize-winning authors, fiction in translation and occasionally non-fiction books. All books are selected from the Library’s Reading Group Collection.

Everyone Everywhere is a powerful exploration of Britain’s mixed race identity, tracing its hidden past, vivid present, and hopeful future.

A sociable adult knitting and crochet group. Bring your own knitting/crocheting or use needles, hooks, wool and knitting patterns provided by the group. Help is on hand for any knitting/crocheting queries.

Flow is a group exhibition by artists, working across painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, collage, photography, and film and video.

Are you between the ages of 7 and 11 and love to read? Then join our book club to talk about books, write reviews, make new friends, and have a blast with fun activities! Light refreshments provided.

Chatterbooks is a reading group with a difference. Each month we talk about what we've been reading, play games and do lots of activities all around the wonderful world of books. This is aimed to target 4-11yr olds.

Calling all gamers! Dive into the exciting world of esports at our Esport Youth Club.  Enjoy thrilling gaming sessions, meet fellow enthusiasts, and challenge your friends in a friendly, competitive environment.

Join our librarians in the children’s library for our interactive wriggle and rhyme each Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Get into reading – gives you a place to relax, a chance to make new friends and a new way to share reading.

You don’t have to read anything. You can simply drop in and enjoy having a good story or poem read to you.

Good Things Foundation are giving away SIM cards via Lambeth Clapham library for adults (over 18) who need smartphone access or to be able to text for jobseeking etc
