You don’t have to read anything. You can simply drop in and enjoy having a good story or poem read to you.

Good Things Foundation are giving away SIM cards via Lambeth Clapham library for adults (over 18) who need smartphone access or to be able to text for jobseeking etc

What can I expect?

Tayari Jones returns with a luminous, deeply moving novel about mothers and daughters, and two lifelong friends whose worlds collide after years apart. Vernice and Annie are born within days of each other in Honeysuckle, Louisiana.

A sociable adult knitting and crochet group. Bring your own knitting/crocheting or use needles, hooks, wool and knitting patterns provided by the group. Help is on hand for any knitting/crocheting queries.

Join our librarians for songs, stories, and rhyme sessions.

Crime book group for adults. Books are selected from the libraries collection and distributed amongst the readers each month to discuss at the following meeting.

At Dr Bike sessions experienced mechanics check everything on your bike from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more.

A chess club for all ages and abilities. Chess boards and pieces provided.

This group is run by Age Exchange Lambeth. It provides support, friendship and activities for people living with dementia and their Carers.

Join our librarians in the children’s library for our interactive wriggle and rhyme each Tuesday and Thursday morning.

The session starts with 30 minutes of play and socialisation from 10 am.

At 10:30 am library staff will lead with songs and rhymes, especially for babies and toddlers.
