Join Lambeth Tour Guide Diana Bromwich for a 1.5 mile  walk exploring history, mystery and ministry. Start at Brixton Windmill, walk part of the Roman Road, follow some of the course of the Effra River.

This 90-minute walk shows how shopping grew from nothing to make Brixton South London’s biggest shopping centre by the 1920s. The development of shopping was one of the key elements in the development of Brixton and a vital part of its history.

A walk, conducted by John Rattray for the Balham Society, along Cavendish Road, originally known as Dragmire Lane, covering many of its buildings and other features, and the personalities associated with them. 

WNC is home to influential Victorian painters, sculptors, potters, designers and art collectors, including Sir Henry Tate, who gave his collection to the nation.

Only the brave will want to join a night tour of West Norwood Cemetery - the spookiest place in south London. This tour heads off as the shadows lengthen before plunging into total darkness surrounded by thousands of dead Londoners.

This group is run by Age Exchange Lambeth. It provides support, friendship and activities for people living with dementia and their Carers.
