Calling all gamers! Dive into the exciting world of esports at our Esport Youth Club.  Enjoy thrilling gaming sessions, meet fellow enthusiasts, and challenge your friends in a friendly, competitive environment.

The session starts with 30 minutes of play and socialisation from 10 am.

At 10:30 am library staff will lead with songs and rhymes, especially for babies and toddlers.

After the creation of the London Borough of Lambeth in 1965, Lambeth’s new Department of Architecture and Planning, led by Ted Hollamby, went on to design some unusually diverse and distinctive council housing across the borough.

Photographer Basil McDonald has retraced the route and reshot the photos taken by local historian Brian Bloice in 1967. The comparative images in this exhibition show how streets have changed but also that many things stay the same.

Clear Community Web host 

A club designed to support children learning to read, struggling readers, and those learning English. The sessions are led by a retired school teacher and provide personalised guidance to help children build confidence in reading.

Adult book group reading mostly adult fiction, both contemporary and classic, prize-winning authors, fiction in translation and occasionally non-fiction books. All books are selected from the Library’s Reading Group Collection.

Beyond the churches in our streets, the archives held at Lambeth Palace Library shed light on the development of parts of Lambeth’s built environment and on its social history.

A sociable adult knitting and crochet group. Bring your own knitting/crocheting or use needles, hooks, wool and knitting patterns provided by the group. Help is on hand for any knitting/crocheting queries.
