Each kiosk is designed as a soundproof booth, ensuring conversations remain private and confidential.

Join our free ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) course to improve your English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

Join our librarians in the children’s library for our interactive wriggle and rhyme each Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Shared Reading groups bring people together through great literature to talk, laugh and share. Just drop in, grab a cuppa and enjoy listening to a story or poem – no pressure to talk or read.

Help with homework for children. Come along to the library from 4pm where our homework helpers can assist. KS 1 and KS2. Term time only

For parents/carers and their children aged 5 to 11 years. Come and use library books and other resources for help with school homework.

This session inspires people to read more and encourages them to share their enjoyment of reading and celebrate the benefits of reading.

A sociable adult knitting and crochet group. Bring your own knitting/crocheting or use needles, hooks, wool and knitting patterns provided by the group. Help is on hand for any knitting/crocheting queries.

Join the Minet Library Tea and Coffee social group. Drop in for a chat, some card games, get mindful with some colouring in or just read a book.
