The Nest Pre-School CIC

The Nest Pre-School CIC, is an Arts-based Community, not-for-profit, parent run pre-school, established by parents in Longfield Hall since 1992. The nursery is located on the Ground Floor of Longfield Hall offering a home-from-home environment, inclusive of a playground, vegetable garden, art room, playroom, and sensory room/ 2yr old room (where children learn through play based activities) and adult led morning classes, Italian/French, Cooking, Forest School, Computers, Drama, Yoga, and Ceramics. Maximum no of children on site 20. There is a high ratio of staff to children. 1:8 for our 3 to 4 year olds and 1:4 for our 2 year olds.

Children enjoy a wide range of activities such as previewing Children Shows for TV or Touring Shows at Longfield Hall, regular weekly trips to Myatt's Field Park for Forest School experiences, outings to the LSO at St Luke's, apple & strawberry picking at PYO farms, plus trips to London's children's theatres and museums.

Eligible children receive government funded 30 hours and 15 hours. If you want to visit, please email or ring us to arrange a convenient time.
