Indoamerican Refugee And Migrant Organisation (IRMO)

Indoamerican Refugee and Migrant Organisation (IRMO) provides services in Spanish and Portuguese. We do this by offering high-quality information and advice services, opportunities for development and training, and a platform to seek social and systemic change. Our work is organised across the following areas,
• Advice: individual advice/casework in Spanish and Portuguese on key areas including immigration, welfare entitlements, housing and homelessness prevention.
• Education, Training and Employment: ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes for adults, one-to-one coaching and job-hunting support, professional mentoring, vocational training and workshops on employability skills.
• Children and Young People: a wide range of activities for migrant, asylum-seeking and refugee families, children and young people. Including English classes, mentoring, creative workshops and group trips.
• Advocacy, Research, Policy mapping and Campaigning: to ensure that migrants, including asylum seekers and refugees, have fair and equal access to services and can fully exercise their rights and entitlements.
