Big Up Communities

Big Up Communities (formerly Big Up Films), is a not for profit organisation committed to giving the community a voice. Using filmmaking, play, fitness activities and creative mixed media art projects as a tool to engage children 8 to 16 years old.

We aim to identify and address social issues that affect communities, with a focus on the underrepresented and marginalized members. Each project is tailored specifically to meet the needs and interests of the group and uses filmmaking and art as tools that empower, engage and inspire. All our facilitators and support staff are DBS/CRB checked and highly experienced.
