Photofusion

Photofusion is a photography resource centre in Brixton that has championed, supported, and celebrated photography and photographers for over 30 years. As a charity, we work hard to increase access to photographic education and we nurture diverse talent, particularly those from underrepresented communities and for people who face barriers to participating in creative activities.

Our work is delivered through a programme of courses, outreach initiatives, and youth-focused projects across South London, supporting young people aged 16 to 25 years old. A key part of this is The Creators' Studio, an ongoing programme designed for 18-25-year-olds at the start of their photographic careers.

We also deliver Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) summer school for children aged 8 to 14 years old. Providing free, nutritious meals and engaging creative activities during school holidays, supporting families who may struggle with food costs and childcare.

Our Lambeth-funded Adult Learning courses are run year-round and combine practical photographic workshops with mentoring, enabling learners to develop new skills while connecting with peers and invited industry professionals.

We have a strong relationship with 198 Contemporary Arts and Learning, another Lambeth Arts Venue, collaborating to deliver creative programmes and opportunities for Lambeth residents.
