Established as a childminder in 2003, Annette is also a qualified teacher, Early Years SENCO and Forest School Leader, who undertakes continuous professional development and is constantly striving to provide the best possible homebased childminding and early education to those in her care. Achievements include; Ofsted Outstanding grade, The Royal Horticultural Society 5 Star Gardening School, Lambeth Natural Thinkers Setting.
Annette strives to provide an environment where children are nurtured and cared for to enable them to grow and develop into happy, confident and independent individuals, who care for and respect our environment. A strong emphasis is placed on being outside where children help grow their own food, engage with wildlife and care for our environment.
Children are learning all the time and learn best when they are happy and inspired by their surroundings. The playroom has been designed to be a calm, cosy and nurturing space, with a variety of resources for children to explore. The majority of resources are made from wood and have been chosen to help develop and extend children’s learning and imagination.

Funded Hours are offered on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as 7.5 hours per day between 9.00am and 4.30pm
The Department for Education states ‘Funding is not intended to cover the costs of meals, other consumables, additional hours or additional activities. Parents can therefore expect to pay for any meals offered by the provider alongside their funded entitlement. Parents can also expect to pay for other consumables or additional activities offered by the provider, such as nappies or trips.’
There is a sliding scale of charges depending on your child’s age. The rates shown are for a child claiming 2 year old funding.
Food including morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack is charged at £3.50 per day
Trips & Outings £6 per day This contribution also goes towards admission and travelling expenses including train fares and parking.
Consumables A charge of £1.00 per day is made for families who don’t provide their own nappies.
