Audiology Service

We care for children and young people with hearing difficulties. We offer hearing assessments to children of all ages, from newborn babies to young adults, including children with complex needs. We're one of the largest children's audiology services in the country.

Our service is split into routine and specialist care. Our routine service provides:
• hearing tests for children of all ages
• care for children with middle-ear disorders

Our specialist service provides:
• care for children with significant hearing difficulties who may be fitted with hearing aids
• hearing assessment under general anaesthetic or sedation

Thanks to Guy's and St Thomas' Charity, we have innovative ways of providing hearing assessments to autistic children or children with complex needs in our Hummingbird clinic.
