Crown Lane Resource Base Provision (pupils With ASD)

Children with ASD at Crown Lane Primary School resource base have the opportunity to learn alongside their mainstream peers. Programmes and opportunities are carefully planned according to the needs of each individual child. The starting point is working with the child’s strengths, breaking down skills into small components, so that learning is meaningful and helps the child generalise into other situations. This builds the child’s confdence and self -esteem. The children in the mainstream school also beneft, as they learn frst -hand about children who have a different way of looking at the world. This builds understanding which has a long lasting impact for their lives.

Admission to the Base will be through the Lambeth SEND Team.
