The Autism Project is a full time course run over 2 years; students (with an Education Health & Care Plan) attend Monday to Friday, for 36 weeks per academic year. The aim of the course is to help young autistic adults (18 to 25years) prepare for employment by offering work experience placements in a supportive environment.
Working in partnership with Whittington Health, Guy’s, and St. Thomas’ hospitals. Students carry out their work placements in one of our hospital sites during year one. Year two focuses more on work readiness and giving students the option to gain experience outside of the hospitals in roles to match their interests and skills.
