Housing advice for people with mental health needs

Mental health issues affect about 1 in every 4 people in Britain in any given year.

Mental health can range from very common disorders such as depression and anxiety, to more severe and enduring mental health conditions such as psychosis or post-traumatic stress disorder.

If you are concerned about your mental health, you should see your GP for advice and treatment as early as possible.  Your GP will be able to provide you with support and may also refer you to a more specialist service if needed.
