Join the Priority Services Register for heat networks
The Priority Services Register (PSR) for heat networks is designed to protect vulnerable consumers connected to communal or district heating systems, ensuring they have access to tailored support, extra communication, and safety measures during service interruptions or emergencies.
As heat networks are not currently regulated in the same way as gas and electricity, the PSR is vital for protecting households that may struggle during a loss of heating or hot water. New regulations have come in from 2026 which means we have to have a PSR.
