Brought back properties - Central Hill

Our Response

Please could you put the amount under each title as I feel the table has not copied and pasted well. Please find attached a copy of the table from previous response - IRN8432103 Do the properties that have been bought back by the council and had their leases dissolved, contribute through Service Charges or otherwise to the maintenance of the estate? If yes, how much? Please note that no service charges have been levied on former leasehold properties acquired by the council as part of estate renewal programme, on the basis that these properties are intended to be occupied in the short-term only as either temporary accommodation (managed by the Council) or private lets (managed by Homes for Lambeth), during the masterplanning consultation process. Services charges are calculated, taking into account all dwellings in a block and/or estate. If the service is provided to a block, the charge is based on the total cost of the service shared across the whole block, or if the service is provided to an estate, the charge is based on the total cost of the service shared across the entire estate. In both cases, the charge is apportioned using the property's Rateable Value (RV) and is apportioned to all dwellings. As the calculations take into account all dwellings in a block and/or an estate, service charges to tenants and leaseholders will not include any share of the service charge costs apportioned to former leasehold properties acquired by the council for TA or private letting and any which may be void.
