The above includes a total construction cost which is based on a quotation for the works prepared by our term maintenance contractor. This is based on rates which were agreed at the commencement of our term maintenance contract, which are the result of a competitive tender process. These rates are fixed bar agreed annual increases in line with indexation. We are not able to share full details of our contractor’s quotation for works as the rates used are commercially sensitive. We can however provide a breakdown of the scope of works and quantities used as the basis for our contractor’s quotation – see attached (46 Woodmansterne Rd Scope).

Quotations are calculated based on a detailed determination of quantities, which are then multiplied by the contractually agreed rates. Quotations vary depending on a number of factors, including size, construction depth, utilities interfaces and surfacing materials, so there is a not a fixed relationship between width and cost that can be provided.
