Your request & our response
I would like to request the following information under the Freedom of Information act.
1. For the full calendar years between 2017 and 2021, please can you provide:
a) A list of all dog fouling incidents reported to your council and where they occurred in your council area
Lambeth Council does not collect the data on individual offences so we can't distinguish dog fouling from everything else.
b) Whether those incidents resulted in an FPN being issued
N/A - FPN’s can only be issued when the incident is witnessed
c) How much the fine was in GBP for FPNs for each of those years
Since 2017 an FPN issued for dog fouling is £50.
2. The name of the external company you currently use for dog fouling enforcement or confirmation that it is an internal council matter
The majority of CEOs are employed by APCOA, the council employs a few directly.
3. How much was spent in the calendar year 2020 - 2021 on the contract with the external company or on dog fouling enforcement internally
