I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information, for the period since 2nd October 2013, to the most recent data available:
1) The total number of planning applications submitted.
2) The total number of planning applications decided within 26 weeks of being validated.
3) The total number of planning applications decided after 26 weeks of being validated.
4) The total number of planning applications which were withdrawn.
5) The total number of planning applications which are yet to be decided.
For each of the above questions, I would appreciate if your responses could include:
a) The information broken down into each respective year
b) The total number of planning applications (in each respective year) whereby an Extension of Time (EOT) was not agreed with the applicant.
c) The planning References and Addresses of the planning applications where an EOT was not agreed with the applicant.

Questions 1-5 a)
The council’s planning applications database has an advanced search function which allows you to search by date range, status, and decision to aid with refining your search requirements. The planning applications database has records of all applications from 1986 onwards, including copies of decision notices and plans for newer applications. Information on older applications can be found in our collection of historic planning notices.

Please note that the Council does not keep records of Extension of Time (EOT) requests which have not been agreed with the applicant. As such we do not hold this information.
