The steps taken by the authority to identify RAAC in residential properties owned by the authority;   

 The number of residential properties owned by the authority that have been identified as having been built using reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC);  

 Any estimates of the number of total properties (residential and non-residential) owned by the authority that may have used RAAC in construction; 

 A breakdown by housing estate of the estate's construction date or estimated age.

Our response

Using published government guidance, Council Officers are currently reviewing which Council owned buildings – including its residential properties - may contain reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete. All relevant public buildings will be subject to review and any site identified as requiring inspection by a suitably qualified person will be inspected.
