9. Could you please inform me of the procurement process for semi-independent living services for young people aged 16+ years of age?
We currently commission a framework of semi-independent living providers. Our current framework runs until March 2023, with scope to extend. We have not yet decided how we will commission semi-independents once our framework expires.
10. As a new provider for semi-independent living services for young people, how would a company begin to provide services for the Local Authority?
We will not be using any new non-framework providers outside of those already used. Future commissioning of semi-independents once our framework expires is still being explored and so we are unable to provide with further detail on this at this stage.
11. Once approved as a service provider for your Local Authority, how long does it take for a company to begin to receive placement referrals from the Local Authority?
There is not a set time for referrals being received by a new provider, this will depend on demand at the time.
12. How many young people do you currently have awaiting semi-independent accommodation?
We do not have a waiting list. All young people requiring semi-independent living accommodation are currently accessing accommodation.
