Care Rights Project

Provides free advice and advocacy to migrants with no recourse to public funds

Care Rights Project can help adult migrants with no recourse to public funds who also have care needs to access local authority social care.

Care needs are when a physical or mental health condition means someone needs help with everyday tasks. These can include:

  • keeping clean
  • dressing
  • preparing and cooking food
  • taking medication
  • moving safely around their home
  • going to places like shops or health appointments
