Statutory Consultation Outcome — August 2022
All representations received during the statutory consultation were supportive of the proposals, although some comments were received in relation to maintenance of road surfacing, replacement of existing street furniture, setting out individual bays and introduction of yellow lines.
A report considering these comments were presented to the council and a decision was made to proceed with the advertised proposals.

Implementation – October 2022 Following this decision, the project has been handed over to our contractor for the installation of the necessary Permit Holder Only Past this Point (PHOPTP) CPZ extension signing. The works will start towards the end of the week commencing 17 October 2022 and will take no longer than one week to complete. The CPZ extension will be operational from Monday 31 October 2022 with a two-week period of ‘soft enforcement’ through the issue of warning notices only.
