Proposed CPZ Extension Statutory Consultation, 4 June 2021
What is the current status of the proposed CPZ?
Following the council’s decision to proceed on proposals to introduce parking controls in Navarre Road, Winterslow Road and the remaining parts of Cromwell Road and Fairbairn Green, the Statutory Consultation will commence 4 June 2021 and close on 25 June 2021.
What are the plans?
In April 2021 the council agreed to proceed with a statutory consultation to introduce an extension to the existing Vassall CPZ (Zone V) into Navarre Road, Winterslow Road and the remaining parts of Cromwell Road and Fairbairn Green, with controlled hours of 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
The proposed CPZ extension will introduce a combination of resident permit, shared-use (resident permit, business permit and Pay by Phone) and disabled bays.
