We want attractive and well-maintained parks in Lambeth, which means maintaining and sustainably increasing ornamental flower beds and other horticultural features. This requires an increased focus on how weeds are controlled.
Lambeth's integrated pest management policy (IPM) sets out our approach to weed management and our commitment to minimising, and ultimately eliminating, the use of chemical herbicides to control weeds. It is one of a set of publications on pest management which we will be issuing on a range of topics, including the management of non-native invasive species.
