Before we start this process, we are carrying out a Call for Sites exercise to understand what sites and/or areas of land are potentially available to help meet the borough’s future needs.
We are undertaking a ‘Call for Sites’ between Monday 19 January – Friday 20 March 2026.
This is your opportunity to help us identify sites that offer the potential for development for housing and commercial uses, and that could potentially also be used to deliver the necessary infrastructure to support growth. This will help us to better understand where there is potential for development and will influence how we shape and manage this growth.
The sites submitted will be assessed by the council and considered for inclusion as site allocations as part of our work on preparing a new local plan.
