Can we talk dirty?

Not like that — we’re talking slop, scraps, gloop and gunk. You see, leftover food can mess up recycling for everyone, from your neighbours to the local recycling team.

The problem with sloppy seconds

Whether its last night’s pizza crusts left in the box, the dregs of beans in the bottom of a can, or that jar of mouldy pesto at the back of your fridge – leftover food doesn't belong in your recycling bin.

It spoils clean recycling and makes it harder to process, meaning less gets recycled.

Keep it clean to make it count

It’s simple - empty packaging and give it a quick rinse so more can be recycled.

Double check what belongs in your recycling bin.
