Step 4 — Pay for the construction of the dropped kerb
After the Utilities Clearance stage is complete, you’ll need to pay a non-refundable Engineering fee of £401. This covers a visit from a Highways Area Engineer, who will assess whether your site is suitable for a vehicle crossover.
If the site is approved, you’ll receive a written quote for the dropped kerb.
You must pay for the work in full before construction can begin.
Please make sure your driveway or off-street parking area is fully prepared before we start building the dropped kerb.
