Dropped kerbs

Upon receipt of your planning permission or a Certificate of Lawfulness, you can download and complete a utilities search form (PDF 142KB).

After submitting this form and paying the correct fee, the highways department will assess information from statutory undertakers, for example, gas, electricity, water, broadband and telephone providers, to check whether the construction of a dropped kerb may require repositioning utility apparatus. 

Any arising costs would have to be met at the applicant’s expense.
