London Borough of Lambeth Election of Councillors
An election is to be held for all Councillors in each of Lambeth’s 25 wards. Each ward will elect either 2 or 3 Councillors.

- Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer at Lambeth Town Hall, Ground floor, Room G.15, 2 Brixton Hill, London, SW2 1RW, between 9:30am and 4pm on any working day from and including the date of this notice (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm on Thursday 9 April 2026.
- Nomination papers may be obtained from the Returning Officer at Lambeth Town Hall, Ground floor, Room G.15, 2 Brixton Hill, London, SW2 1RW.
- If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday 7 May 2026.
- Applications to register to vote for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by midnight on Monday 20 April 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
- Applications, amendments, or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 21 April 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote.
- New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 28 April 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote.
- Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Electors Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 28 April 2026. Applications can be made at https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-to-vote.
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on the grounds of physical incapacity, work, or due to the loss, theft, destruction or damage of required photo ID, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Thursday 7 May 2026. To apply to vote by emergency proxy, the applicant must have become aware of the reason that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Tuesday 28 April 2026.
