The current status of the proposals
Following the council’s decision to proceed with new and amended parking and waiting restriction proposals, the statutory consultation commenced on 09 September 2022 and will close on 30 September 2022.
Give your views
A notice of the council’s intentions to introduce these measures will be published in a local newspaper (South London Press), the London Gazette. Street notices will also be posted on lamp columns in the area.
Representations for and against the proposals must be made in writing to:
Parking Design
Resident Services
P.O. Box 734
Winchester
S023 5DG
Or, by email to cpzconsultation@lambeth.gov.uk quoting the relevant road name reference, for example “Aquinas” by no later than 30 September 2022. Objections must relate only to the elements of the scheme that are subject to this statutory consultation.
All representations along with Officers’ comments and recommendations will be presented in a final report to be considered by the council. This report will set out whether the council will introduce parking amendments across the Borough, and if so, which roads will be subject to such proposals. The council is required to give weight to the nature and content of representations and not necessarily the quantity. Therefore, the reasons behind your representation are important to us.
A copy of each of the Orders and other documents giving detailed particulars about them (including maps) are available for inspection online and by appointment at the offices of Lambeth Council's Parking and Enforcement Group (Resident Services), 3rd Floor, Civic Centre, 6 Brixton Hill, London SW2 1EG, between 9.30am and 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive (except on bank/public holidays). A copy of the Orders and related documents are also available on request, by email to Trafficorders@lambeth.gov.uk or by telephoning 020 7926 6799 to arrange an inspection.
