Trade union facility time
Under the Trade Union (Facility Time Publication Requirements) Regulations 2017, we must publish information on facility time used by trade union representatives.
Our results published from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020 trade union facility time, include the overall full-time equivalent (FTE) in terms of union coverage for the whole Council including health and safety and separately for education.
The Council and Education TU Facilities Time reporting has now been separated (as part of the new requirements from the Cabinet Office) and includes 'as and when' Shop Stewards data that was not previously available in 2017/18.
