2024 APHR – Ageing Well in Lambeth

The focus of the APHR (2024) is Ageing Well in Lambeth.  It provides an overview of ageing in the borough, outlining trends and factors that impact on ageing.  This report discusses ageing within the following themes:

  • Environmental adaptations and the physical environment;
  • Preventing ill health in later life;
  • Service utilisation and  services beyond health and care;
  • Economy, workplace, and cost of living;
  • Community and social environment.

This report supports the implementation and future actions of the Age-Friendly Lambeth programme which are documented in the forthcoming Age-Friendly Lambeth Action Plan (2024 – 2027), which is due to be published by the end of the financial year. The recommendations are for all stakeholders to play their part in supporting healthy ageing in Lambeth and to address the inequalities observed in older age.
