Lambeth Council was delighted to complete works earlier this year to redesign the playground on Clapham Common and install new play equipment, as it had become run down and out of date. The project focused on creating an attractive, inclusive and safe facility for children and parents to enjoy. It also focused on encouraging and maintaining biodiversity on the common. The playground has won a PiPA Gold Award for its inclusive new design and play equipment.
