Granby Space

The council, Meanwhile Space CIC and If_Do Architects worked together in 2017 to bring forward a new temporary workspace project at 114-118 Lower Marsh. The space provides below market rent opportunities for micro businesses.

The building was given a dramatic but low cost facelift helping to bring the building back to life. New public seating and planting was provided to the side of the building in a courtyard, supporting the local street market and providing space for small scale events and performances.

The workspace will remain in place until long term redevelopment of the site begins to provide permanent workspace and other uses.
