Sustainable economic growth in the borough will provide opportunities for all residents to live better lives at the same time as generating necessary funding for public services that support our most vulnerable. This ambition includes: fair jobs, affordable housing, innovative industries, transport improvements and community facilities.

Our goals:

• Fair jobs – work with employers so people have fair working conditions and are paid the London Living Wage
• Affordable housing – ensure all residents have access to well-designed, affordable homes
• Innovative industries – encourage sustainable development and grow the innovative industries in Lambeth including creative, digital, health, life sciences, business, financial services and tourism
• Transport – connect our areas better by pursuing transport improvements
• Community facilities – spread the benefits of growth around the borough by investing in local centres
