In alignment with our ethos, H.E.R Space encourages Black girls to express and feel empowered while connecting with their dreams, passion, and purpose.
All sessions enable Black girls to discover their own power, increase their self-esteem, express themselves, and form a more positive attitude towards learning.
Throughout the course of the H.E.R Space Programme, we use a variety of creative mediums, including mind mapping, bracelet making, mood boarding, and tote bag making. This allows Black girls to express themselves and create items that are meaningful to them and reflective of their stories.
The content and delivery model are informed by our research on the experiences of school-aged Black girls across and previous H.E.R Space individual/group therapeutic mentoring programmes.
