Lambeth Council aims to increase canopy cover across the borough and aim to plant 5000 trees between 2022 and 2026. Regrettably though, there are instances where we need to fell trees. Most street trees are felled because they are dead, irreparably damaged (for example by vehicle collisions) or decaying to the point where they are structurally unsound. In 2020 Lambeth introduced a number of new School Street schemes. These schemes are now moving to an Experimental Traffic Order and we want your views on this. The consultation runs from 14 June to 14 December 2021.

We want your views on our proposal to convert our existing North Area Housing Office into a local community hub that allows residents to access a group of services, advice and support in one location. The consultation runs from 13th July 2021 to 9th August 2021.

A group of community organisations in Waterloo have joined with Lambeth Council to redesign Emma Cons Gardens. We want to hear your ideas for how the space could be improved. Based on what you tell us, the group will brief a team of designers to start working on new designs for the space. The consultation runs from 16 June to 1 August 2021.

Lambeth is working with the Football Foundation to develop new Football Facilities in the Borough. If you have an interest in using these proposed facilities at Brockwell and Ruskin Park for recreational, coaching, training, or competitive use we would like to hear from you by completing our online survey. The consultation runs from 1 July to 29 July.

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) has decided to hold a period of further limited consultation in five proposed new wards, Clapham Common, Stockwell East and Landor, West Norwood, Gipsy Hill, and West Dulwich and St Martin’s wards.
