Stage 1 Consultation - Proposed Hailsham Avenue Area CPZ, 2 August – 30 August 2019

We are consulting residents in the Hailsham Avenue Area to on whether the area should be included in the new Streatham Hill Controlled Parking Zone.

What is happening in this area?

We are consulting residents in the Hailsham Avenue Area to on whether the area should be included in the new Streatham Hill Controlled Parking Zone. Some residents have requested that the Council also consults this area due to a concern that their road would be likely to experience increased parking pressure if we introduce that CPZ.

Following the Council’s decision to consult this area on proposals to introduce a CPZ, the Stage 1 Consultation will commence 2 August and close on 30 August 2019. We have extended the consultation from the required 3 weeks to 4 weeks to account for the holiday period.

How can I give my views?

The decision on whether or not to proceed with the next step, which would involve a statutory consultation on the proposals, will be subject to the responses received during this stage 1 consultation.

This Stage 1 Consultation is only open to residents and businesses within the consultation area. You will need to provide the unique reference number that was provided in the consultation package we sent out (it’s the code which looks like ‘HT9999’) when you’re answering the survey.

We welcome your comments on this proposal, which will be noted and included within the proposed measures where appropriate. Please complete your Stage 1 Consultation submission by 30 August 2019.

What happens next?

All representations will be analysed and the results of the consultation along with officers’ recommendations will be presented in a report. Once a decision is made all consultees will be notified accordingly and the decision report will be published on this page.
