Following the council’s decision to consult this area on proposals to introduce a CPZ, we are consulting with residents and businesses on a CPZ in this area.
The Stage 1 Consultation will commence 5 June 2023 and close on 26 June 2023.

What happens next?
The decision on whether or not to proceed to the next step, which would involve a statutory consultation on the proposals, will be subject to the responses received during this Stage 1 consultation.
This consultation is only open to residents and businesses within the consultation area. Only one submission will be accepted per household.
We welcome your comments on this proposal.
All representations will be analysed and the results of the consultation, along with officers’ recommendations, will be presented as a report. Once a decision is made, all consultees will be notified accordingly and the decision report will be published on this page.
