A young adult carer is someone aged 16 to 21 who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who has an illness, disability, mental health problem or addiction.

The Young Carers Service run by Carers' Hub Lambeth supports young carers aged 5 to 21 years old who helps look after a family member or friend, who has an illness or condition.
